Single Drive Mapping Method using ADUC (Active Directory Users and Computers)

 

Note: This is for "Active Directory Domains only"

  1. Open ADUC (active directory users and computers)
  1. Find the user or users who need a mapped drive.
  1. Highlight the user(s) as shown in the Diagram.
  2. Right click and choose properties.

  1. Click the radio button "Connect" (Shown in Diagram )

  1. Choose the Drive letter you want mapped to the users PC.
  2. Type in the path to the share to be mapped. Click Apply and Ok.

Now when users log in they will have the drive you chose in step 6 mapped automatically.
